/Isaac Smith our 2012 Club point score Champion, now studying and rowing at Melbourne University, will be rowing in the Melbourne 8+ in the Australian Boat Race to be held in Sydney Sunday 26th October.

World Masters Regatta 2014 - Ballarat

NRC member Danielle Jolly had a very successful World Masters Championship over the
weekend! Danielle competes for Canberra Rowing Club but is a full member of our
club. She trains very early in the morning so you may only catch a glimpse of her.
Congratulations to Danielle for achieving a Gold in the WC4x!
Danielle also placed 2nd in WA4x, WC8+, WB1x, and also a few 3rd places in crew events.

World Masters 2014 - Ballarat
/Congratulations to Lucas McBeath who placed 2nd in his heat of the Men’s A 1x at the 2014 WORLD Rowing Masters at Ballarat today! Lucas battled harsh cross winds and cold temperatures to come in second behind the rower from Dynamo Rowing Club, Moscow. The World Masters Regatta does not have finals but Lucas has made it onto the medal tally. ‘A’ refers to the age class in master’s events. Well done Lucas!
University Games - SIRC OCT 2014
/NRC Senior James Pacey participated in the University Games at SIRC on the 4th and 5th Oct, rowing for the University of Newcastle. James did not bag a medal but was up against some fierce competition with some extremely strong university clubs. He competed in the Men’s Eight, Double and Lightweight Four. Congratulations James!
